If you're collecting sales tax from your customers, you need to keep track of it and pay the state either monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on your state's requirements.
Just record and process your transactions in Artichoke and it's all tracked for you. Best of all, you can set up a reminder to yourself to pay the sales taxes to the state.
The reminder email looks like this....
1) Make sure your products and services show the accurate sales tax rate for your state. Remember, many states don't tax services so you'll want to do some quick searches to confirm your local requirements.
2) Go to SETTINGS / NOTIFICATIONS / turn on "Sales Tax Reminder Email"
3) Go to DASHBOARD / INCOME / "Sales Tax"
If you don't see the "Sales Tax" block, select "Add Report"
